CDP Pastry Chef

A well-established, quality-driven restaurant/bakery in Woodstock is looking for a talented and passionate CDP Pastry Chef to join their kitchen team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Pastry CDP or strong Senior Pastry Chef
  • Solid knowledge of desserts, pastries, breads, and basic viennoiserie
  • Experience in high-volume, high-standard kitchens
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
  • Good understanding of food costing, stock control, and hygiene standards
  • Team player with a positive attitude and leadership potential

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the pastry section on a day-to-day basis
  • Preparing and executing dessert and pastry menus to a high standard
  • Assisting with menu development and seasonal changes
  • Maintaining cleanliness and HACCP standards
  • Training and guiding junior kitchen staff
