A well-established, quality-driven restaurant/bakery in Woodstock is looking for a talented and passionate CDP Pastry Chef to join their kitchen team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Pastry CDP or strong Senior Pastry Chef
- Solid knowledge of desserts, pastries, breads, and basic viennoiserie
- Experience in high-volume, high-standard kitchens
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Good understanding of food costing, stock control, and hygiene standards
- Team player with a positive attitude and leadership potential
Responsibilities:
- Managing the pastry section on a day-to-day basis
- Preparing and executing dessert and pastry menus to a high standard
- Assisting with menu development and seasonal changes
- Maintaining cleanliness and HACCP standards
- Training and guiding junior kitchen staff
